CADminTools License Logging folder

Here's a summary of what should be in your CADminTools_License_Log folder.  Anything beginning "lic_" is required for the license logging process.

Batch files:
lic_log.bat - the main license logging script, run hourly to record users/workstations/licenses
lic_arc.bat - run once a week, just before the 1st lic_log.bat - saves an archive of the previous weeks usage and sets new datecode

Text files:
lic_datecode - current datecode (eg: 2004-12-20)
lic_last - date/timestamp of last license logging - shown in license tracker to verify data (eg: 2004-12-21 @ 7:00p )
lic_weeks - contents of data subfolder - used as list of available weeks in license tracker

CADdB.mdb - backup of the main database, for security. This will be copied from the webserver during lic_log.bat

data subfolder - containing datecode files for each week the license tracker has been used

lmutil.exe - to carry out the license logging on FlexLM servers (available from CAD installation, or from macrovision.com)


Note: if you're using FTP to transfer data from the license server to the web server, you'll also need:
ftp-lic-master.txt - main body of FTP commands, containing servername, folders, etc...
ftp-lic.txt - weekly version of FTP, with datecode file added - used to update the web server data file each hour
