STRAIGHTNESS APPLIED TO THE SURFACE OF A PLANE

The tolerance zone is constrained in the projection plane of the view where it is applied. The feature control frame can be attached to a line extending from the surface to be controlled, or can point directly to that surface with a leader.

The surface must lie within the specified straightness tolerance zone and the boundary of perfect form at MMC (1.510). Each longitudinal element must lie within two parallel lines 0.010 apart.
