I took a stab at it.
 
attached zip: ProE_WS03.zip
 
as usual unzip
 
1st) double-click: lj_tst01.bat
 
2nd) double-click: var_run.bat

the 1st) bat creates a txt file: lj_set_tst01.txt
 
There I duplicated the varian launch bat, except where it runs
the varian linked bat. But I inserted a line that does this:
 
set>lj_set_tst01.txt
 
It writes all the current environment variables to that txt file.

the 2nd) var_run.bat runs the java program. It might work, it might not.
I tried to duplicate the env var settings, like the var bat files do.
 
But the java program also writes to a text file: set>lj_prog_set_tst01.txt
 
So run both bats. The 2nd might start proe in the right workspace & linked
to intralink. It might not.
 
But please send me back both txt file:
 
lj_set_tst01.txt
lj_prog_set_tst01.txt
 
It should run, but of course, its hard to run right 1st time, especially since I am writing to
a bat file & writing to a couple txt files.
 
Its twice as hard, because I am doing it from afar.
 
You never know, we might make it work well & varian says, they need to hire me for
$150K & let me do windchill.
 
yes, they do have it. Now I want to do the java side of windchill, but I have to get my start somewhere.
