Interface Summary

ApplicationExpImportHandler	This interface is the base class for both ApplicationExportHandler and ApplicationImportHandler.
ApplicationExportHandler	This is the base class for export application handlers.
ApplicationImportHandler	This interface represents application specific implementation of how import process gets input information.
IxbDocument	This interface represents XML file for export and import This is a simple wraper for XML DOM representation.

Class Summary

ApplicationExportHandlerForJar	This class provides methods for storing XML and content files in export jar file.
ApplicationExportHandlerTemplate	Class extends ApplicationExportHandler interface with trivial implementations.
ApplicationImportHandlerTemplate	Supported API: true Extendable: true
ExpImporter	This abstract class represents common part of Exporter and Importer classes.
Exporter	Exporter is the container representing export handlers for the context of the export operation.
Importer	Importer is the container representing import handlers for the context of the import operation.
IxbHelper	This class contents several static methods that can be used in export/import application.

Package wt.ixb.publicforapps Description

Provides APIs to develop IXB application. There are two existing IXB applications in Windchill now:

• Windchill Replication
• Windchill Export/Import to/from jar file

To develop a new IXB application the following should be done:

• Application Export and Import handlers should be developed, that implement interfaces ApplicationExportHandler and ApplicationImportHandler;
• Export and Import code should be developed, that really performs Export and Import. As an example of these, code sources for Export and Import to/from jar file can be used (methods doExport and doImport from class StandardIXBService).
