Viewing Package Content Using the Offline Viewer
After downloading a package ZIP file, you can view the package offline. To view a package ZIP file created with the offline
viewer,
- Open the ZIP file.
- Extract the package contents to your computer.
Note
If files within the ZIP file have names that contain non-ASCII characters, they may not extract properly. Use an application such as WinRAR or 7-Zip to maintain the special characters in the filenames and complete your extraction. Note
When the package ZIP file exceeds the size specified for the delivery medium, multiple ZIP files are created. All the ZIP files must be extracted to the same location on your computer to successfully view the entire package using the offline viewer. - From the package contents, select the index.html file and launch it in a supported browser.
A static and simplified version of the Windchill interface appears, allowing you to browse package information.
Package Details Page
When you open the index.html file for a package, the package details page opens in your browser. This page shows a subset of package attributes as well
as the contents of the package.
The name and number of the package appear at the top of the page. Attributes that identify the package appear on the package
details page. The following attributes appear:

The context in which this package was created.

Recipient Instructions

Instructions for the recipient specified by the package owner.

If the package you are viewing is a CDRL or SDRL, additional attributes specific to CDRLs and SDRLs appear in the attributes
pane.
The table that appears under the package attributes lists all of the objects contained in the package. Click the view information
icon 
to view additional information about each object. If you are viewing a subsequent delivery of the same package, objects may
have a status glyph to indicate one of the following states:

- New
- object has been added to package content since previous delivery - Changed
- object has been updated since previous delivery - No Longer Included
- object is no longer included in the package content (this may be due to object deletion, object move, a change to the structure,
or another update that removed the object from the collection)
You can view the information in the table in different ways by selecting one of the options from the drop-down list:

Only options that have objects to display are available. The All Contents Included in this Delivery option is always available. For example, if the package does not contain a part structure then the Product Structure Contents Only option does not appear.

Previous Content Not Included in this Delivery

Displays all objects previously sent in another package that are not included in the current package delivery. Objects may
be omitted from a package if they have not changed since the previous delivery, if they are no longer collected as part of
the package contents, or if they have been deleted.

The Attachments table lists any files associated with the package as delivery attachments.
Object Information Pages
You can view the information page for any object contained in the package by clicking the view information icon for an object listed in the table. A list of attributes appears on the information page, communicating the unique identity
of the object. The attributes listed differ depending on what type of object you are viewing.

Lists any attachments to the current object other than the primary content.

Lists objects related to the current object that are also included in the package. The type of relationship is listed in the
Relationship column. Types of relationships might include alternate, reference, baseline, or referenced by.

Lists any representations associated with the current object.
|
|
Substitutes
|
Lists objects that can substitute for the current object in a part structure.
